Short version: nothing you do here is collected, stored on a server, or shared.

What is stored

High scores, win streaks and your sound preference are saved using your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and can be erased at any time by clearing your browser data for this domain.

What is not stored

There are no accounts and no third-party tracking scripts. The ad slots on this site are currently placeholders that load nothing and set no cookies. If a real ad provider is added later, this page will be updated to name it and describe what it collects.

What this site does measure

This arcade runs its own first-party analytics so that visitor numbers can be shown to prospective advertisers. Nothing is shared with any third party and no advertising identifiers are used. What is recorded:

  • A page view each time a page is opened, and which game it was.
  • Which game you open from the home page, and each time you press New Game or Start, so we can tell how often games are actually played.
  • Whether an ad slot appeared on your screen, and whether it was clicked.
  • Your IP address and the country it resolves to, your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet), and the site that referred you.
  • A random identifier stored in your browser so that repeat visits can be counted without knowing who you are. It contains no personal information and is never sent to anyone else.

Your IP address is used to determine a country and for basic abuse protection. Country lookups are performed by an external geolocation service, which receives the IP address and nothing else. Results are cached so that any given address is only ever looked up once.

Individual event records are deleted automatically after roughly thirteen months. Only aggregate daily totals are kept beyond that, and those cannot be traced back to a visitor.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no measurement takes place at all and any identifier already stored is removed.

The only third-party request made by the pages themselves is the web font stylesheet served by Google Fonts.
