How to play Sky Shield

  1. Six cities sit along the bottom of the screen, protected by three batteries.
  2. Click or tap anywhere to fire an interceptor at that point.
  3. Interceptors take time to fly, so aim ahead of the incoming missile, not at it.
  4. Each blast leaves an expanding fireball that destroys anything it touches, including other missiles.
  5. The wave ends when the sky is clear. The game ends when every city is gone.

Tips & strategy

  • Fire well ahead of a missile. The interceptor is slow and the fireball needs time to bloom.
  • One fireball can catch several missiles. Wait half a second for a cluster rather than firing at singles.
  • Your fireballs also destroy incoming missiles that fly through them, so a wall of blasts across the sky is efficient.
  • The centre battery is nearest most targets โ€” save it for emergencies and lead with the outer two.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when a battery runs out of ammunition?

Each battery holds ten interceptors per wave and reloads at the start of the next one, so spreading fire across all three matters more than accuracy alone.

Do I get cities back?

You are awarded a replacement city every few waves as long as you have fewer than six, which makes surviving a bad wave worthwhile.

Why do the missiles speed up?

Each wave increases both the number of missiles and their descent speed, so the game is a test of how long your economy of shots holds out.
