How to play Word Search
- A grid of letters hides a list of words shown beside it.
- Words run in any direction, including diagonally and backwards.
- Click or tap the first letter, then drag to the last letter to select a word.
- Find every word on the list to complete the puzzle.

Tips & strategy
- Hunt for unusual letters first. If a word contains a J, Q, X or Z, there are very few places it can be.
- Scan for double letters — they are visually distinctive and narrow the search fast.
- Work the diagonals last. Most people find the horizontals and verticals quickly, so the leftovers are usually diagonal.
- Once a word is found it stays highlighted, which often reveals the letters of the next one.
Frequently asked questions
Are the grids always different?
Yes. Both the word list and the letter placement are regenerated every round, so no two grids repeat.
Do words overlap?
Often, yes. Shared letters between words are normal and make the grid denser and harder.
Is there a time limit?
There is a timer, but it only records how long you took. Nothing ends the puzzle early, so you can search at your own pace.
