How to play Klondike Solitaire
- Pick draw one or draw three, then press Deal.
- Click a card to lift it, then click where it goes to drop it.
- Build the four foundations up from ace to king, one suit each; build the tableau down in alternating colours.
- Click the stock to deal, and use Auto to sweep every available card home.

Tips & strategy
- Turn up face-down tableau cards as early as you can — buried cards are dead weight.
- Don't rush every ace to the foundation; a low card is sometimes more useful on the tableau.
- Empty columns are gold: only kings fill them, so plan what goes there.
- Draw one is far more winnable than draw three, so start there for your first wins.
Frequently asked questions
Is every Klondike deal winnable?
No. A good share of draw-one deals can be won with careful play, but some are impossible from the start — that is part of the classic game.
What does Auto do?
Auto repeatedly sends any card that can legally move to a foundation, so you don't have to click the last tidy-up moves by hand.
How is my score tracked?
Your record is the fastest time to clear the board, saved separately for draw one and draw three.
